Life so far has been an interesting combination
of sprint, marathon and obstacle course

On a personal note, I’m an avid traveler, spa fanatic,
lover of wine & food, crappy golfer, mediocre runner.
The running is primarily to offset the wine and food.
I travel whenever and wherever I can for fun, for work and
often to squeeze in a half-marathon or race in some
interesting place. I’ve run races in Vancouver, Amsterdam,
Chicago, Copenhagen, Las Vegas, Toronto Island,
Istanbul (where the course crosses over from Europe to Asia)
and the fabulous chocolate race in St. Catharines, ON.
Love a race that has chocolate stations along the course.
Originally raised in rural southwestern Ontario, I hop-scotched around Ontario for school and work, landing in Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Toronto, Belleville and a few brief stops in other places along the way. Then I ventured further afield, moving to Calgary, Alberta for five years. Then Vancouver, British Columbia for six years. Then Moscow, Russia for almost three years. And back to Ontario, but I spend as much time as I can in my home in Palm Springs, CA.
That’s when I’m not packing my suitcase to head off on some new adventure somewhere in the world, of course.
